THE ROLE OF TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP OF SCHOOL
PRINCIPALS IN IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF EDUCATIONAL
SERVICES AT MADRASAH ALIYAH AL IMAROH, BEKASI REGENCY

This study aims to find out whether transformational leadership is able to motivate
teachers and staff to improve the quality of education services at Madrasah Aliyah
Al'Imaroh. and how this leadership style affects the achievement of the school's
vision and mission. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method.
Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation
studies. Research participants include school principals and teachers.
The results of the study show that the application of transformational leadership in
Madrasah Aliyah Al'Imaroh by the principal shows that this approach has a
significant impact on various aspects of school management and development.
Principals who effectively implement transformational leadership are able to
convey a clear vision and inspire all staff and students to work towards a common
goal. However, this study also found several obstacles such as lack of support from
the school such as limited budget sources, lack of meeting consumer expectations,
dynamic quality of education services, effectiveness, efficiency and management of
education have declined around, the ability to achieve in the school, facilities and
infrastructure. These limitations can hinder the effectiveness of leadership,
especially in extracurricular activities.
