Abstract
The E-Coklit application is a new application launched by the KPU to simplify the
process of updating voter data for determining the final voter list for the 2024
election. The main problem in this research is that there are still many people who
are not registered in the List of Potential Election Voter Population (DP4) and dual
selector in two places. This research uses data collection techniques, observation,
interviews and documentation. The nature of this research uses a qualitative
descriptive approach. The data sources for this research are observations, in-depth
interviews by the Bekasi City KPU Commissioner, the head of the Community
Participation Prevention and Public Relations Division, as well as Pantarlih officers
as users of the E-Coklit application. The aim of this research is to analyze the
effectiveness of the E-Coklit Application in the process of updating voter data.
Based on the results of research conducted at the Bekasi City KPU, it can be
concluded that the effectiveness of the E-Coklit application is still not effective,
based on Richard M. Steers' theory in Tangkilisan (2005: 205) there are 3 indicators
of application effectiveness, namely goal achievement, integrity , adaptation. The
obstacles experienced by the monitoring committee officers and the Bekasi City
KPU were signal problems, application storage space problems. Efforts made by
the Bekasi City KPU to deal with application obstacles include data matching or
updating voter data manually.
