Abstract
ABSTRAK
Fathiya Rohmatul Jannah 41182911220090. Ibu Sebagai Pendidik Pertama Pada Pembentukan Ibadah dan Akhlak Anak Di Keluarga Muslim di Bekasi.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran ibu sebagai pendidik pertama Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji peran ibu sebagai pendidik pertama dalam membentuk ibadah dan akhlak anak pada keluarga Muslim di Kota Bekasi, membandingkan pola pendidikan antara ibu yang bekerja dan tidak bekerja, serta mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi dalam proses tersebut. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan lapangan (field research). Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap enam partisipan yang terdiri atas tiga ibu bekerja dan tiga ibu tidak bekerja. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan Kesimpulan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ibu memiliki peran sentral sebagai pendidik pertama dalam pembentukan ibadah dan akhlak anak. Pembentukan ibadah dilakukan melalui keteladanan, pembiasaan, pendampingan, pengawasan, dan motivasi dalam pelaksanaan salat, puasa, mengaji, serta doa harian. Adapun pembentukan akhlak dilakukan dengan menanamkan nilai kejujuran, disiplin, tanggung jawab, sopan santun, empati, dan rasa hormat.
Ibu yang tidak bekerja memiliki lebih banyak kesempatan mendampingi anak secara langsung, sedangkan ibu yang bekerja memanfaatkan waktu secara efektif melalui komunikasi, pengawasan, dan penguatan pendidikan agama di rumah. Tantangan yang dihadapi meliputi keterbatasan waktu, pengaruh lingkungan, perkembangan teknologi, penggunaan gawai, dan perubahan sosial. Disimpulkan bahwa keberhasilan pembentukan ibadah dan akhlak anak sangat dipengaruhi oleh keteladanan, pembiasaan, konsistensi, serta keterlibatan aktif ibu dalam pendidikan keluarga sehingga anak tumbuh menjadi pribadi yang beriman, bertakwa, dan berakhlak mulia.

This study aims to examine the role of mothers as the first educators in shaping children's religious practices and moral character in Muslim families in Bekasi City, compare the parenting patterns of working and non-working mothers, and identify the challenges they face in this process. This research employed a qualitative method with a field research approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving six participants, consisting of three working mothers and three non-working mothers. The data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing.
The findings reveal that mothers play a central role as the first educators in fostering children's religious practices and moral character. Religious development is carried out through role modeling, habituation, guidance, supervision, and motivation in performing prayers, fasting, reciting the Qur'an, and daily supplications. Moral development is nurtured by instilling the values of honesty, discipline, responsibility, politeness, empathy, and respect for others. Non-working mothers have more opportunities to provide direct assistance to their children, whereas working mothers make effective use of their limited time through communication, supervision, and strengthening religious education at home.
The challenges encountered include limited time, environmental influences, technological advancement, excessive gadget use, and social changes in urban communities. The study concludes that the success of children's religious and moral development is strongly influenced by mothers' role modeling, consistent habituation, and active involvement in family education, enabling children to grow into faithful, pious, and morally upright individuals.
