Abstract
This study aims to analyze the process of cultural formation within the NCTzen Bekasi community through the Saturday Drip Instagram and WhatsApp platforms. A qualitative approach with digital ethnography (netnography) was employed, involving participant observation, in-depth interviews with one key informant and four community members, and digital documentation. The data were analyzed using Symbolic Interaction Theory and the concept of Popular Culture. The findings reveal that interactions within the community are active, friendly, and non-hierarchical, with the administrator playing a central role as a facilitator in fostering an inclusive environment. The study also identifies a process of cultural hybridization, reflected in the use of mixed Korean–Indonesian language and the "kyu" pose as a distinctive marker of the community's identity. Furthermore, digital interactions have developed into meaningful social relationships beyond the virtual space. The study concludes that Saturday Drip serves as an intercultural communication space that facilitates the construction of a collective identity through the negotiation of global and local cultures.
