Abstract

The development of digital technology has encouraged the use of telemedicine, including through Halodoc. However, clarity of information and patient trust remain challenges in digital health communication. This study aims to analyze the process of health information delivery between doctors and patients and to understand how patients interpret doctors' explanations within the Halodoc service. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using in-depth interviews with one key informant doctor and five Halodoc patient-users. The findings reveal four main themes: communication adaptation in digital media, clarity of information through the use of simple language, patient comprehension of health information, and the formation of trust through communication quality and consultation experience. This study concludes that information clarity plays an important role in building patient trust toward both doctors and the Halodoc service. The success of digital health communication is determined not only by technology but also by doctors' ability to convey information clearly, in a structured manner, and in an easily understandable way, so that patients feel confident in the service provided.
