This study aims to examine the implementation of the one-on-one teaching approach in enhancing the instillation of Islamic values in children with special needs at Naira Kencana School, Bekasi. Children with special needs require instructional approaches tailored to their specific characteristics and learning needs, particularly in Islamic Religious Education. Consequently, the one-on-one teaching approach is employed as an individualized learning strategy to help students grasp Islamic values more effectively. This study utilizes a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis involved data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing.
The research findings indicate that the implementation of the one-on-one teaching approach successfully enhances Islamic knowledge among children with special needs through instruction tailored to each student's individual capabilities. This approach is implemented through individual guidance, material adaptation, repetitive practice, and continuous evaluation, thereby making it easier for students to understand Islamic Religious Education material. However, implementation still faces several challenges, such as a limited number of teachers, diverse student characteristics, time constraints, and the need for parental support in the learning process.
