Abstract
Mufidatur Rahmah Maulana, 2026. Instilling Moral Values Through Hand Puppet Media at PAUDQ Miftahul Ilmi, East Bekasi. Islamic Religious Education Study Program, Universitas Muhammadiyah Indonesia-Bekasi Advisor: Siti Asiah, M.A.
This research aims to examine the process of instilling moral values thrpugh hand puppet media, as well as to analyze the effectiveness of the storytelling ,method using this media at PAUDQ Miftahul Ilmi. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, in which data were collected through observation, interviews with relevant individuals, and documentation of relevant records.
The results of this study show that teaching moral values using hand puppets was carried out in a structured manner, encompassing preparation stages as well as summarizing what had been learned. The moral values taught included honesty, courtesy, responsibility, patience, sharing, helping others were more easily understood by the children. However, the values of patience and responsibility required a longer time to become habitual. The application if this method proved to produce positive behavioral changes in children, both at school and at home.
