THE APPLICATION OF THE 5M METHOD IN QUR’ANIC STUDIES AND ITS CONTRIBUTION TO THE UNDERSTANDING AND CHARACTER OF THE CONGREGATION AT THE MAJELIS ILMU LABAIKALLAH IN BEKASI. Thesis. Bekasi: Islamic Education Study Program, Faculty of Islamic Studies, Universitas Islam 45 Bekasi.
This study aims to describe the application of the 5M method in Quranic studies at the Majelis Ilmu Labaikallah Bekasi and to analyze the supporting factors, inhibiting factors, and its contribution to the understanding and character of the congregation. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the 5M method is implemented through the stages of reading, studying, understanding, practicing, and disseminating the values of the Qur’an. The implementation of this method is supported by competent instructors, a conducive learning environment, and the active participation of the congregation, while the constraints include differences in understanding, time constraints, and consistency in practice. Thus, the 5M method contributes to enhancing the understanding of the Qur’an and shaping the congregation’s religious character, discipline, responsibility, and social awareness.
