ABSTRACT
The Role of the School Principal in Utilizing Artificial Intelligence to Enhance the Professionalism and Performance of Educators at SMK Bani Rosa Insani Bekasi Regency.

The rapid development of AI technology has had a significant impact on the field of education, particularly in enhancing teacher professionalism and performance. However, the use of AI by educators remains suboptimal due to limited understanding, age-related factors, and lack of technological readiness. This study aims to analyze the role of the school principal in utilizing AI to improve the professionalism and performance of educators at SMK Bani Rosa Insani, Bekasi Regency.
This research employed a qualitative method with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving the school principal and teaching staff. The findings reveal that the school principal plays a crucial role in providing infrastructure, conducting teacher training, and fostering a culture of innovation within the school. The use of AI also supports the simplification of administrative tasks, the personalization of learning, and the enhancement of the learning process's effectiveness. Nevertheless, the implementation of AI still faces challenges, such as low digital literacy and limited technological adaptation among teachers.
In conclusion, school leadership plays a vital role in integrating AI as a learning support tool. Continuous training is essential to maximize the use of technology in achieving national education goals.
