Abstract

This Internet of Things (IoT) based chicken coop monitoring and automation system
prototype is specifically designed to facilitate chicken coop environmental
management in terms of temperature and humidity. This study uses IoT technology
to build a system that can monitor chicken coop conditions in real time and adjust
automatically. Can access and control this system remotely using devices such as
NodeMCU8266, DHT11 sensor and Blynk applications. The main objective of this
study is to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of poultry farmers through
optimal environmental management. The temperature required by brooding chickens
is 27 ° C-30 ° C and humidity is 60% -70%. The results of the system application
show that IoT technology can greatly assist farmers in monitoring and controlling
coop conditions, reducing the risk of chicken stress and increasing production.
