Abstract

Skills in solving mathematical problems are a very important ability for students at the elementary
school level, but many students face difficulties in developing these skills. The aim of this research is
to assess the effect of using the Problem Solving Model on students' ability to solve mathematical
problems at the elementary school level. The method applied is Systematic Literature Review (SLR),
by reviewing 10 articles published in the last 6 years. This research proves that problem solving has
a positive impact on students' skills in solving mathematical problems by stimulating them to identify
problems, design strategies, apply mathematical concepts, and evaluate answers. This model
provides an organized work structure for students to improve their problem-solving skills efficiently.
