Abstract
Firm value reflects stakeholders trust in business management which is realized
through achieving company performance result which can be seen from the company’s
share price. This research aims to determine the effect of financial performance
consisting of profitability and leverage, environmental performance, and carbon
emission disclosure on company value.
The research method used is a quantitative method with panel data regression
analysis. The data in this research is secondary data in the form of annual report and
sustainability reports of energy and basic material sector companies listed on the
Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2020-2023 period, with samples taken using a
purposive sampling technique, 24 companies were obtained as samples in this study.
The research results show that profitability and environmental performance
have a positive and significant effect on firm value, while leverage and carbon emission
has no influence on firm value. For this reason, it is hoped that future researchers will
add other independent variabels that were not used in this research.
