Abstract

Women are disadvantaged because of stereotypes that portray women as weak. women have psychological dependence with a strong desire to be cared for and protected by men. the tendency of the cinderella complex is real among women, especially adolescents, which can be influenced by self-concept and parenting. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self-concept and permissive parenting with the cinderella complex in Al-Maghfirah High School students.
This study included correlational quantitative research. The study population consisted of 226 students of Al-Maghfirah High School, Bekasi City. Which consists of 2 classes of ipa and ips from . Data collection methods using interviews and psychological scales. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between self-concept and cinderella complex with a value of r = -0198 and P = 0.003 < 0.05. This means Ha.1 is accepted and H0.1 is rejected. Then the results showed that there is a significant relationship between permissive parenting and the cinderella complex with a value of r
= 0.741 and P = 0.000 <0.05, so Ha.2 is accepted and H0.2 is rejected.
