Abstract

English is a very important things for our communication, and it is a
commonly used for international language. To improve the quality of English, we
need a learning process, one of which is English translation. This is recommended
not only for normal students, but also for children with special needs at Islamic
Green School High School. My research aims to find out how the ability to translate
English among students with special needs at Islamic Green School High School.
This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, namely a
research method that produces descriptive data. This qualitative description
describes students' abilities and strategies for translating from data obtained in the
field. The results of this research on 9 children with special needs, some of the
students were able to translate with the appropriate equivalent words..
