Abstract

the machining proces plays an important role in today's manufacturing industry because it is useful for the manufacture of metal base machine components. the macine that is commonly used to make these components is a milling macine which in the industrial world or the workshop world is also called a milling machine. milling machine parameters such as spindle speed, feeding speed,and depth of feed milling cut are optimum especialy in finishing operations. through this research, it is hope that it can contribut in the form of a benchmark for the optimal parameters of a machining operation. the selected machining operation is a milling procec with a conventional milling machine.
