Study in Ujung Menteng Village, Cakung District, East Jakarta), Ahwal
AlSyakhshiyyah Study Program, Faculty of Islamic Studies, Islamic University 45
Bekasi in 2025.
The background of this study is because many married couples choose to have
both careers. The existence of this reality makes the author want to study this
problem. How can career couples realize a sakinah family even though they are
busy working, how can career couples be responsible for parenting and educating
children, how do both of them solve problems in the family and how do they
complete housework when both are equally busy with work.
This research is a qualitative field research with primary data obtained from
interviews with career couples. The study was conducted in Ujung Menteng
Village, Cakung District, East Jakarta, Jalan Satria XII RT/RW 12/02 No. 19.
While for secondary data obtained from articles, books, and relevant previous
research theses.
The results of this study indicate that this husband and wife have been able to
achieve sakinah even though both are busy working. This is because they always
instill religious knowledge in the family, understand each other, have time together
when both are off work, communicate, be honest, be open to each other and do
not forget to always be grateful
