Abstract
This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in mathematics. This is indicated by the learning outcomes of students who have not yet reached the average set by the school. In addition, there are errors in writing the denominator and numerator, have not been able to compare different images but have the same value, and difficulties in arithmetic operations to determine equivalent fractions. The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes in mathematics by using the Quantum Learning learning model in grade IV students of SDN Pejuang VII, Bekasi City.
This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method with two cycles. Each cycle is carried out in four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects in this study were 32 students, consisting of 13 males and 19 females. The data collection technique in this study used written tests and observations. The study is said to be successful if 80% of the number of students achieve a minimum score of 80.
The results of the study showed that the classical completeness of grade IV increased from cycle I to cycle II. The classical percentage in cycle I was 50% with an average value of 80. In cycle II it increased to 88% with an average value of 91. Thus it can be concluded that the Quantum Learning learning model can improve student learning outcomes in mathematics subjects in class IV SDN Pejuang VII Kota Bekasi.
