Abstract

Project quality evaluation is a crucial process because it determines whether the
project meets standards and meets requirements. It involves planning,
implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and corrective action to maintain the
quality of the final product. Because of the importance of quality control, the author
conducted a study on quality control in the structural work of an apartment project
in South Tangerang. This study employed observation and descriptive analysis
methods, namely field observations to collect data, followed by descriptive analysis
describing the quality evaluation of the structural work on the Forestwalk
Tangerang apartment, specifically focusing on quality control for equipment,
materials, and the execution of beam and column work. The results of this study
indicate that quality control in this apartment construction project is quite good,
although several obstacles remain that need to be addressed. The assessment was
based on several quality control indicators, including the quality of the materials
used, the structural work implementation method, the field monitoring and
inspection system, and documentation of material and structural test results.
However, improvements in supervision and coordination between parties during
field implementation are needed to improve work quality.
