Abstract

Students who work often face a dual burden in fulfilling their roles as workers and students, which can impact their psychological well-being. This study aims to determine the influence of gratitude and hope on the psychological well
being of working students. This research employs a quantitative approach. The subjects of the study comprised 126 working students, obtained through purposive sampling techniques. Research instruments used three psychological scales, namely the Six Item Form uestionnaire (GQ-6) developed by McCullough, the Hope Scale with validity values of 0.81 - 0.93 and reliability values of 0.944, and the
Psychological Well-Being Scale (PWBS) developed by Ryff. The results of the correlation test show a significant effect of gratitude on psychological well-being, r=0.681; p<0.001, and a significant effect of hope on psychological well-being,
r=0.811; p<0.001, In the regression test, there is an influence of gratitude and hope on psychological well-being of 73.3% (R² = 0.733, F = 168.847, p < 0.001). Thus, the null hypothesis is rejected. This means that the higher the level of gratitude and
hope possessed by working students, the higher the level of psychological well being they experience.
