Abstract

ABSTRACT

Social loafing is the tendency to reduce motivation and effort when working on tasks in a group compared to working individually. This research aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and prosocial behavior and laziness in psychology students. This research is quantitative research, involving 214 students. Data collection methods were carried out through interviews and questionnaires, with psychological measurement scales including the self-efficacy scale, prosocial behavior scale, and prosocial behavior scale. Instrument reliability using Cronbach's Alpha formula. Data analysis tests use normality and linearity tests as well as hypothesis tests, namely Spearman rank correlation and multiple regression. The results obtained show a value of r=0.931 p=0.000 (<0.05), which means there is a relationship between self-efficacy and prosocial behavior with social loafing in psychology students.
