Abstract

This research aims to examine the characteristics of teacher service leadership
implemented at SD Negeri Kebalen 04 Bekasi Regency, identify obstacles in efforts
to increase the strengthening of students' character education (PPK), and formulate
effective solutions. Characteristics of servant leadership in this school include
listening, empathy, healing, awareness, persuasion, conceptualization, long-term
view, service to others, commitment to the growth of others, and building
community. Barriers faced include limited time and resources, lack of training and
professional development, resistance to change, heavy workload, lack of
collaboration and support, and evaluation and measurement challenges. To
overcome these obstacles, several strategic solutions are proposed, including:
improving teacher training and professional development, optimizing time and
resources, building a school culture that supports character education,
implementing a structured evaluation program, strengthening collaboration with
parents and the community, as well as developing varied extracurricular programs.
It is hoped that by implementing these strategies, SD Negeri Kebalen 04 can be
more effective in strengthening the character education of its students, so that it can
create a generation that is not only academically intelligent but also has strong and
noble character.
