Abstract

INCREASING THE QUALITY OF LEARNING
THROUGH THE 5R METHOD OF HOUSEKEEPING MANAGEMENT
IN MANAGEMENT OF INFRASTRUCTURE FACILITIES
IN SMKN 3 BEKASI CITY

Abstract

Assessment of management of infrastructure facilities with the standard housekeeping management method of 5R during observations found the results of the assessment at a low level, this will have an impact on the quality of learning at SMKN 3 Bekasi City. The research aims to understand the stages of implementation, obstacles and future strategies for housekeeping management of the 5R method in managing infrastructure to improve the quality of learning at SMKN 3 Bekasi. The research was designed using a qualitative descriptive method with data sources from informants by means of interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis procedures used reduction, display, and conclusion techniques by verifying the validity of the data through triangulation of sources and methods. The results showed that the housekeeping management of the 5R method in managing infrastructure was carried out inconsistently, not according to the standard stages of implementation, with obstacles in the form of a lack of leadership commitment, no complete socialization and no clear program. Future plans for the application of the 5R method seek to involve all elements and be carried out in all areas of SMKN 3 Bekasi City by carrying out 12 stages of implementing the 5R method adopting industry standards.
