Abstract
"The Effectiveness of Communication in Online Learning Through the Zoom Application on Students' Understanding at SMAN 2 SETU".
The outbreak of the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic since December 2019 requires all teaching and learning activities for students to be temporarily carried out at home. This is the background for the author to examine how this research finds out the effectiveness of communication in online learning through the zoom application, in this study using quantitative research, the population in this study was 268 people. So, it is known from the calculations for the sample with an error rate of 90% as many as 100 people, with the technique of collecting data by distributing questionnaires. Test the validity and reliability. The results of hypothesis testing through simple linear regression analysis with the help of the IBM SPSS Statistics 25 program show that the effectiveness of learning communication has a positive effect on students' understanding of SMAN 2 Setu, for further researchers it is better to add other variables that have not been studied in this study.
