Abstract
This study examines the moral guidance (akhlak) model implemented by Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers at SDIT Attaqwa 02, Bekasi Regency, in response to the influence of TikTok among sixth-grade students. Using a qualitative case-study approach, data were gathered through in-depth interviews with the PAI teacher, the principal, the homeroom teacher, and students, supported by observation and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. Findings show that moral guidance is not a single, isolated activity but an integrated system built on five interrelated strategies: prevention through Islamic digital literacy, remedial guidance and counseling, habituation of worship and courteous behavior, digital supervision carried out jointly with parents, and behavioral evaluation that feeds back into renewed prevention. This model is integrative, collaborative, adaptive, and continuous, engaging the PAI teacher, the principal, the homeroom teacher, and parents together. Rather than banning TikTok outright, the teacher positions it critically and constructively—both as an educational medium, through short da’wah videos and student-produced content, and as an object of moral reflection, in which viral trends become case studies for weighing behavior against Islamic adab. This guidance produces measurable shifts in students’ religious awareness, courtesy, and social-media conduct, cultivating a cognitive-moral filter that leads them to consider, rather than simply imitate, the models of behavior they encounter online. The study concludes that moral education in the TikTok era must extend adab from the physical to the digital sphere, with the PAI teacher acting as a bridge between religious values and students’ everyday digital reality.
