Abstract
This study aims to examine the internal communication patterns among members of the MACI Cikarang Motorcycle Community, identify the role of internal communication in strengthening relationships among members, and analyze the communication barriers that occur within the community. This research employed a qualitative approach using a descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research informants consisted of the Head of MACI Cikarang, one senior member, and one new member selected using purposive sampling. The data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that internal communication within the MACI Cikarang Motorcycle Community takes place through both face-to-face interactions and digital communication, with WhatsApp groups serving as the primary medium for information exchange. The communication pattern is characterized by openness, participation, and predominantly horizontal communication, allowing members to express opinions, provide suggestions, and actively participate in community activities. Internal communication plays a significant role in strengthening solidarity, fostering a sense of family among members, increasing member participation, and maintaining the sustainability of the community. However, several communication barriers were identified, particularly in digital communication, including delayed access to information, differences in message interpretation, and the lack of participation from some members in WhatsApp group discussions. These obstacles are generally resolved through direct clarification and two-way communication between the management and community members.
