Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between digital competence and teacher creativity, the relationship between change orientation and teacher creativity, and the simultaneous relationship between digital competence and change orientation with the creativity of junior high school teachers in South Tambun District, Bekasi Regency. This research is motivated by the importance of teacher creativity in responding to the demands of 21st-century learning, which requires digital technology mastery and the ability to adapt to the continuous changes occurring in the educational environment.
This study employed a quantitative method with a correlational approach. The population consisted of all junior high school teachers in South Tambun District, Bekasi Regency. The research sample was determined using a random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive and inferential statistics, including simple correlation and multiple correlation analyses, after fulfilling the prerequisite tests of normality, linearity, and multicollinearity.
The findings revealed that: (1) there is a positive and significant relationship between digital competence and the creativity of junior high school teachers in South Tambun District, Bekasi Regency; (2) there is a positive and significant relationship between change orientation and teacher creativity; and (3) there is a positive and significant simultaneous relationship between digital competence and change orientation with teacher creativity. These findings indicate that improving teacher creativity can be achieved by strengthening teachers' digital competence and fostering a positive orientation toward change. Therefore, schools and educational stakeholders should support teachers through continuous professional development programs, digital competence training, and the establishment of an adaptive school culture to enhance the quality of teaching and learning.
