Abstract
This study aims to determine: 1) The relationship between students' perceptions of Islamic Religious Education teacher exemplars and Islamic Religious Education learning achievement. 2) The relationship between students' religious character and Islamic Religious Education learning achievement. 3) The relationship between students' perceptions of Islamic Religious Education teacher exemplars and students' religious character together with Islamic Religious Education learning achievement of students in State Senior High Schools in Babelan District, Bekasi Regency.
The method used is a quantitative correlational method with a sample of 308 students of State Senior High Schools in Babelan District, Bekasi Regency, selected through a proportional random sampling technique. The instrument used was a validated Likert scale questionnaire. The results of the study show that: 1) There is a significant positive relationship between students' perceptions of the role model of Islamic Religious Education teachers and Islamic Religious Education learning achievement. This is evidenced by the Sig . value of 0.001 < 0.05 and the calculated t 12.573 > t table 1.650 with a determination contribution of 34.1%. 2) There is a significant positive relationship between religious character and Islamic Education learning achievement. This is proven by the Sig. value of 0.001 < 0.05 and the calculated t 10.934 > t table 1.650 with a determination contribution of 28.1%. 3) There is a significant positive relationship between students' perceptions of the role model of Islamic Religious Education teachers and students' religious character together with Islamic Religious Education learning achievement. This is proven by the Sig. = 0.001 < 0.05 and F count 80.900 > F table 3.03 with a determination contribution of 34.7%. while the remainder is 65.3%.
Based on these results, this research is expected to provide input for schools, teachers, and parents in designing programs to foster religious character development in students. It is also hoped that this research will provide input for students to increase their positive perceptions of teachers and create a conducive learning climate that will improve academic achievement.
