Abstract
ABSTRACT
THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN STUDENTS' PERCEPTIONS OF THE SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT AND LEARNING CULTURE WITH RELIGIOSITY AT STATE MADRASAH ALIYAH THROUGHOUT BEKASI CITY

This study aims to address the following research problems: (1) How is the relationship between students' perceptions of the school environment and religiosity, (2) How is the relationship between students' perceptions of the learning culture and religiosity, and (3) How is the relationship between students' perceptions of the school environment and learning culture simultaneously with religiosity at State Madrasah Aliyah throughout Bekasi City.
The method employed was quantitative correlational research, with a total of 332 students from State Madrasah Aliyah throughout Bekasi City selected through proportional random sampling technique. The research instrument utilized was a validated Likert-scale questionnaire. The findings of the study indicate that: First, there is a significant positive relationship between students' perceptions of the school environment and religiosity, with a correlation coefficient of r = 0.561. The coefficient of determination contributed 31.5%, and the regression equation was Y = 51.177 + 0.646X₁ (p-value = 0.001 < 0.05). Second, there is a significant positive relationship between students' perceptions of the learning culture and religiosity, with a correlation coefficient of r = 0.426, a coefficient of determination of 18.1%, and a regression equation of Y = 76.128 + 0.465X₂ (p-value = 0.001 < 0.05). Third, there is a significant positive relationship between students' perceptions of the school environment and learning culture simultaneously with religiosity, with a correlation coefficient of r = 0.633, r² = 40.1%, and a regression equation of Y = 16.458 + 0.558X₁ + 0.331X₂. The computed F-value was 109.986 with a p-value = 0.001 < 0.05.
Based on these results, this study is expected to serve as a valuable input for schools, teachers, and parents in designing school environment programs and learning culture initiatives that promote religiosity at State Madrasah Aliyah throughout Bekasi City.
