Abstract
This study aims to determine: (1) Analyze whether there is a relationship between student religiosity and student discipline, (2) Analyze whether there is a relationship between student learning independence and student discipline, and (3) Analyze whether there is a relationship between student religiosity and student learning independence together with student discipline at SMAN Sekecamatan Cileungsi Kabupaten Bogor.
The method used is quantitative correlation with the number of respondents as many as 368 students of State Senior High Schools in Cileungsi District, Bogor Regency, selected through proportional random sampling technique. The instrument used is a validated Likert scale questionnaire. The results of the study show that: (1) there is a significant positive relationship between Religiosity and Student Discipline with a value of r = 0.694. The contribution of determination is 48.1% and the regression equation Y = 29,410 + 0.763X1 (p-value = 0.000 < 0.05). (2) There is a significant positive relationship between Learning Independence and Student Discipline with a value of r = 0.642, a contribution of determination of 41.2% and the regression equation Y = 40,415 + 0.707 X2 (p-value = 0.000 < 0.05). (3) Together, Religiosity and Learning Independence have a significant positive relationship with Student Discipline with a value of r = 0.947, r2 = 89.6% and a regression equation of Y = -69.556 + 0.765 X1 + 0.709 X2. The calculated F value is 1576.040 with a p-value = 0.000 < 0.05.
Based on these results, this research is expected to be input for schools, teachers, and parents in designing student character development programs that are integrated with strengthening religiosity and developing learning independence in order to create students who are disciplined, responsible, and have noble morals in high school.
