The Implementation of Diniyah Takmiliyah Awwaliyah (DTA) Teachers' Strategies in Fostering Learning Ethos and Love of Knowledge among Students at Al-Ifaaqoh Islamic School, East Bekasi. This study aims to examine the implementation of teacher strategies in Diniyah Takmiliyah Awwaliyah (DTA) for fostering learning ethos and love of knowledge among students at Madrasah Al-Ifaaqoh, East Bekasi. The research focuses on the implementation of teacher strategies, the learning strategies applied, their impact on students, and the supporting and inhibiting factors in their implementation. This study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving the head of the madrasah, teachers, and students of DTA Al-Ifaaqoh. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, data display, conclusion drawing, and verification.
The findings reveal that the implementation of teacher strategies in fostering learning ethos and love of knowledge is carried out through personal, religious, and contextual approaches. Teachers build emotional closeness with students, provide Islamic motivation, instill the values of the Qur’an and Hadith, and apply communicative and engaging learning methods. In addition, teachers utilize modern learning media such as videos, YouTube, PowerPoint presentations, and ice-breaking activities to create an enjoyable learning atmosphere. The implementation of these strategies has positively impacted students, as reflected in improved Qur’anic reading skills and understanding of tajwid, increased learning motivation, enhanced self-confidence, and the development of mutual support among students. Supporting factors include a conducive learning environment, positive teacher-student relationships, attractive learning media, and family support. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include students’ fluctuating emotional conditions, fatigue due to formal schooling and other activities, and limited family support for some students.
In conclusion, teacher strategies play a significant role in fostering students’ learning ethos and love of knowledge at DTA Al-Ifaaqoh. These strategies not only improve students’ religious academic abilities but also contribute positively to the development of their character, morality, and social attitudes.
