Abstract
Academic Buoyancy is the ability to cope with everyday academic challenges. This study aimed to examine the relationship between growth mindset and perceived social support with Academic Buoyancy among Psychology students at Universitas Islam 45 Bekasi.This quantitative study involved 200 Psychology students. Data were collected using the Academic Buoyancy Scale, growth mindset Scale, and perceived social support Scale. Data were analyzed using Spearman Rank correlation and multiple linear regression.The results showed a positive and significant relationship between growth mindset and Academic Buoyancy (r = 0.609; p = 0.000) and between perceived social support and Academic Buoyancy (r = 0.592; p = 0.000). Multiple linear regression analysis indicated that growth mindset and perceived social support simultaneously had a significant effect on Academic Buoyancy (F = 247.289; p = 0.000; R² = 0.715). These findings suggest that higher growth mindset and perceived social support are associated with higher Academic Buoyancy among students.
