Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the *Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Determining Control* (HIRADC) method to identify potential hazards, assess risk levels, and determine risk controls in the Tazkia Student Apartment (Rusunawa) construction project in Bogor. The study used a qualitative descriptive method with data collection through observation, interviews, questionnaires with 30 respondents, and documentation studies.
The results showed that there were 10 work activities with potential hazards. The HIRADC analysis showed that before the controls were implemented, there were still risks categorized as extreme and high, particularly for working at heights and exposure to disturbances. Controls were implemented through the implementation of a hierarchy of controls, such as the use of PPE, periodic inspections, implementation of SOPs, the *Lockout/Tagout* (LOTO) system, job training, *safety net*, and *housekeeping* (5R). After the controls were implemented, the risk level for all activities decreased to moderate to low.
Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the HIRADC method is effective in identifying potential hazards, assessing risk levels, and determining control measures to reduce the risk of workplace accidents in the Tazkia Student Housing (Rusunawa) construction project in Bogor.
