Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of financial performance and leverage on
investment efficiencu. The research employed a quantitative approach using secondary
data obtained from the annual financial reports of property and real estate companies
listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2022-2024 period, which were
accessed throught the official IDX website at www.idx.co.id. Multiple linear regression
analysis was conducted using IBM SPSS Statistic 25. The research sample consisted of
21 companies with a total of 63 observations, selected using the purposive samoling
method.
The result indicate that financial performance has no significant effect on
investment efficiency. Likewise, leverage has no significant effect on investment
efficieny. Furthermore, the simultaneous test shows that financial performance and
leverage, as the independent variables, do not have a significant effect on the
dependent variable, namely investment efficiency.
