Abstract
This research is motivated by the importance of the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in increasing students' awareness of the concept of sharing as part of the formation of religious character and social concern. The research aims to analyze the efforts of PAI teachers in increasing students' awareness of the concept of sharing, identify supporting factors and challenges faced, and describe the forms of sharing activities at SDIT Global Insani Islamic School Bekasi.
The research study is based on the role theory of PAI teachers, Albert Bandura's Social Learning Theory, Piaget and Vygotsky's theory of constructivism, and Expectancy-Value Theory. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data was obtained through observations, interviews, and documentation of PAI teachers, principals, and students. Data analysis is carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing to obtain an in-depth picture of the efforts of PAI teachers in instilling sharing awareness.
The results of the study show that PAI teachers play the role of educators, guides, motivators, and role models through learning, infak habituation, mentoring, motivation, and example. These efforts are supported by school culture, principals, parents, and student participation, while the challenges include low understanding of some students, unformed habits, limited pocket money, and lack of consistency. It was concluded that continuous habituation and teacher example are effective in increasing awareness of sharing and shaping students' social care character.
