Abstract
Construction work for the office building of PT Arsitek Hijau Indonesia located at Jl Sersan Aswan No. 20, Margahayu Village, East Bekasi. This building will serve as office space. The purpose of this study is to assess the implementation of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) by identifying and controlling workplace accidents at the project site, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). This research, this type of research is qualitative research, data was obtained through distributing questionnaires, observations and interviews on Construction work for the office building of PT Arsitek Hijau Indonesia to contractors as service providers. This research uses the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) method, which is a method for analyzing safety by identifying dangers in a job and controlling the risk of work accidents that will occur. The data obtained from the questionnaire indicates that the implementation of OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) measures is considered either "very important" or "important." The analysis yielded the following mean scores: OHS commitment and policy (0.848 – very important), OHS planning (0.857 – very important), OHS implementation (0.855 – very important), OHS inspection and corrective action (0.870 – very important), and OHS management review (0.853 – very important). High-risk levels were identified in superstructure work—specifically two variables with risk scores of 16 (being struck by collapsing material) and 15 (injury from sharp objects)—as well as in electrical work (one variable with a risk score of 20: electrical short-circuit), electronic work (one variable with a risk score of 20: electrical short-circuit), and generator work (one variable with a risk score of 20: oil-induced fire). Overall, the project's safety controls comply with OHS standards; however, there are still individual workers in the field who fail to adhere to OHS procedures.
