Abstract
Azhar Sayyid Febrian, 41182191190154. This thesis is entitled "Efforts to
Improve Learning Outcomes Through The Diamond Passing Game Among Fifth
Grade Students at SDN Lawang Gintung 4 Bogor ". This Thesis was compiled for
the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Islamic University "45 " Bekasi.
Futsal is one of the most popular sports among elementary school students.
Passing is one of the fundamental skills that must be mastered in futsal. Based on
the preliminary observation, the passing ability of the fifth-grade students at SDN
Lawang Gintung 4 Bogor was still relatively low, indicating the need for a more
effective learning strategy. This study aimed to improve students' futsal passing
skills through the implementation of the Passing Diamond game. The research
employed the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, conducted in two cycles
consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection.
The findings showed that the implementation of the Passing Diamond game
successfully improved the students' passing skills. The average score in the pre-
cycle was 62.50, with a learning mastery level of 40%, meaning that only 8 out of
20 students achieved the Minimum Mastery Criterion (MMC). After the
implementation of Cycle I, the average score increased to 73.40, and it further
improved to 85.15 in Cycle II. These results indicate a significant improvement in
students' passing skills after the application of the Passing Diamond game.
Based on the findings, it can be concluded that the Passing Diamond game
is effective in improving the futsal passing skills of fifth-grade students at SDN
Lawang Gintung 4 Bogor. In addition to improving learning outcomes, this
learning strategy also increased students' participation during the learning
process. Therefore, the Passing Diamond game can be used as an alternative
teaching strategy in physical education to improve students' fundamental passing
skills in futsal.
