Abstract

Cost planning is an essential stage in construction projects to produce accurate and
reliable cost estimates. This study aims to utilize Autodesk Revit 2023 as a
supporting tool for quantity take-off and to prepare the Cost Budget Plan (RAB) for
the construction of the Class I Harbormaster and Port Authority Office Building in
Banten in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Public Works and
Public Housing (Permen PUPR) Number 8 of 2023. This research employed a
quantitative approach using a case study method. Shop drawings were modeled in
Autodesk Revit 2023 to generate quantity take-off data for reinforced concrete
structural works, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP), and the Ground
Water Tank (GWT). The quantity data were used as the basis for preparing the Cost
Budget Plan, while the cost calculations were performed manually using Microsoft
Excel based on the Work Unit Price Analysis (AHSP). The cost estimation generated
by Autodesk Revit was used only as supporting information.
