Abstract

The use of Sukadami Village funds in infrastructure development in Sukadami
Village, South Cikarang District, Bekasi Regency, is crucial for carrying out its
duties and functions as a development implementer at the village level and as a
driving force for government under the regional and central levels. Villages have
autonomy in managing their own finances and are authorized to implement
governance and development in accordance with Law Number 6 of 2014
concerning Villages. According to Article 14 paragraph (1) of Government
Regulation Number 72 of 2005, physical development is an important step in
implementing planning to achieve the desired transformation, goals, and capacity.
The primary objective of development is to create a positive impact on various
aspects of life, such as infrastructure, public services, the economy, social life, and
the environment of the Sukadami Village community. These objectives align with
the vision desired by the Sukadami Village community throughout the development
process, including environmental sustainability, improved community welfare,
improved accessibility, and overall well-being. This research demonstrates the
importance of infrastructure development in Sukadami Village. This study
employed qualitative methods with data collection techniques through interviews,
observation, and documentation. The results indicate that the effective use of village funds in Sukadami Village infrastructure development has been optimal
and as intended.
