Abstract
Lulu Firda Mulyani 41182911170114. FUNDRAISING STRATEGY IN
IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF CHILDREN'S EDUCATION AT HOME INFAQ
TAMBUN Islamic Religious Education Study Program, Faculty of Islamic Religion,
Islamic University "45" Bekasi, 2024 M/1446 H.
This research aims to find out what fundraising strategies are carried out by
the Rumah Infaq Foundation so that their humanitarian programs can run and the
relationship between fundraising strategies and improving the quality of children's
education.
The type of research carried out by the author was field research taking the
research location at the Rumah Infaq Tambun Foundation and using a descriptive
qualitative approach. Data collection methods are interviews, observation and
documentation studies. The informants in this research were the director of the Rumah
Infaq Foundation, the school principal, teachers, students and guardians of the students
at Tahfidz Gaza Indonesia Middle School.
The research results show that: (1) Rumah Infaq Tambun's fundraising
strategy is carried out in two ways, namely online and offline. Online fundraising,
namely by using social media, websites, transfers via ATM/Mobile Banking, external
platforms and the Donor Service Program or CRM using WhatsApp. Meanwhile,
offline fundraising is carried out by collaborating with companies through Corporate
Social Responsibility (CSR), depositing piggy bank boxes (kencleng) in retailers and
inviting donations and giving to charity when announcing Friday prayers. (2) The
fundraising strategy has a big impact on the results of the association, where the results
of this association will be used to make the programs at Rumah Infaq a success. The
more associations that are obtained for the education program means that more children
will be able to go to school in Tahfidz Gaza, the facilities and infrastructure will be
better, more teachers will be recruited, so that the quality of children's education can
increase.
