Abstract

MAGHFIRAH TAKLIM COUNCIL IN SHAPING ISLAMIC CHARACTER IN
ADOLESCENTS IN AWIRARANGAN VILLAGE RT 02/03, BEKASI. Islamic Religious

This study aims to determine the implementation of learning of the Riyadhul
Maghfirah Taklim Council in shaping Islamic character in adolescents in Awirarangan
Village RT 02/03, Bekasi. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data
collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results
of the study show that the Riyadhul Maghfirah Taklim Council consistently carries out
routine learning activities every Monday night which include the study of the book of
Ta'lim Muta'allim, the reading of Barzanji, Islamic tausiyah (regarding faith, morals,
fiqh), and joint prayer. In addition, the taklim council also held additional activities
such as the celebration of Islamic holidays (Isra' Mi'raj, the Prophet's Birthday, Islamic
New Year), compensation for orphans and widows, and other social activities. These
activities are carried out with the enthusiasm and active participation of the youth and
local residents, which is a major factor in the success of the program. The values of
Islamic character that are instilled include faith, social concern, togetherness,
discipline, and noble morals. The supporting factors for the success of this activity are
the cohesiveness of residents, the support of religious leaders, and the involvement of
teenagers, while the obstacles are in the form of limited facilities and individual
busyness. Thus, the Riyadhul Maghfirah Taklim Council plays an important role in the
formation of Islamic character in adolescents through an integrated spiritual, social,
and educational approach.
