Abstract
students at Tambun 05 Public Elementary School. This is evident in students' lack of ability in: Working on multiplication problems by tens, placing numbers when doing multiplication, and understanding multiplication by counting downwards. The purpose of this research is to improve students' multiplication skills through Takalintar media in grade IV of Tambun 05 Public Elementary School.
This research uses a classroom action research (CAR) method which is implemented in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data collection techniques include tests and observations. This research was considered successful if 80% of the students achieved a minimum score of 75.
The results showed that in cycle I, the classical learning completion rate was 47%, with an average grade of 69. In cycle II, the classical completion rate increased by 43% to 90%, with an average grade of 95. Therefore, it can be concluded that Takalintar media can improve students' multiplication skills in mathematics in fourth grade at Tambun 05 Public Elementary School.
