Abstract
The purpose of this research is to find out the use of the time study method in work measurement, to find out what factors are used in the measurement of standard work time, and to determine the amount of standard time. The data collection method used in this research is primary data obtained directly from the measurements conducted. Meanwhile, the data analysis method uses the time study method.
Research results: there is a discrepancy between theory and the phenomenon that occurs in the company, namely that there are several workers who use idle time and personal time more than the time set by the company, which is 12.5%, due to poor supervision and lack of work time discipline. The factors used in work measurement include the performance rating and the allowance. The result of the standard time calculation for producing the Blade Holder is 8,550.40 seconds or 142.50 minutes or 2.37 hours. The standard time per work element for the milling 1 process is 4,001.79 seconds, brushing is 446.43 seconds, milling 2 is 1,128.77 seconds, grinding is 508.01 seconds, milling 3 is 1,796.19 seconds, tapping is 257 seconds, and finally QC is 397.57 seconds.
