Analysis of the Influence of Profitability, Leverage, Company Activities on Financial Distress

The purpose of this study is to determine and prove the influence of profitability, leverage, and company activities on financial distress in property and real estate companies listed on the IDX for the 2019-2022 period. This research method uses quantitative data using secondary data obtained from the official IDX website and the websites of each company. The sample consisted of 49 companies selected through purposive sampling techniques. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression and uses SPSS 25. The results of the study show that profitability has a positive and significant effect on financial distress, leverage does not show a significant effect, while company activities do not have a significant effect on financial distress.
