Abstract

Rizky Aditya Rahman Nurhakim 41182191180168: “The Relationship
Between Eye Hand Coordination and Dropshot Shot Accuracy in Pb Speed Badminton
Athletes in Cibitung.” Thesis, Department of Physical Education, Health and
Recreation. Islamic University “45” Bekasi.
The purpose of this study was to determine the Relationship Between Eye Hand
Coordination and Dropshot Shot Accuracy in Pb Speed Badminton Athletes in
Cibitung. The research method used a descriptive correlational pattern method. The
research sample was 15 Pb Speed Badminton Athletes in Cibitung. The research
instrument for Hand-eye coordination research instrument using a tennis ball throwcatch test against a wall = 0.84 and reliability = 0.78. While to measure the accuracy
of the dropshot shot with a shuttlecock with a validity level of = 0.96 and reliability =
0.78.
Data processing and analysis techniques used linearity tests, regression
equation calculations and correlation coefficient calculations (pearson product
moment). From the results of data processing and analysis, a correlation coefficient of
0.67 was obtained, indicating a fairly large relationship. The correlation significance
test showed that t count was greater than t table with a confidence level of 95%,
indicating that the two variables had a significant relationship.
The results of the normality test of eye-hand coordination with the accuracy of
badminton dropshot strokes obtained Lo 0.17, the data obtained from the results of all
tests showed that the calculated L was smaller than the L table (0.05) which was 0.19.
So the hypothesis is accepted and normally distributed. And for Dropshot Stroke
Accuracy obtained Lo 0.09, the data obtained from the results of the Variables showed
that the calculated L was smaller than the L table which was 0.33. So it can be
concluded that the data taken is normally distributed, then the results of the calculation
and testing of the correlation coefficient with the Test Criteria -t table ≤ t count ≤ t
table then Ho is accepted or the correlation is not significant. Degree of freedom (dk)
= n-2 with a significance level of 0.05.
Based on the results of the significance test of the correlation between eye-hand
coordination with the accuracy of badminton dropshot strokes, the calculated t was
1.57 which was greater than the t table (t (0.975) (21)) = 2.08 meaning H0 is rejected.
The conclusion is: "there is a significant relationship between eye-hand coordination
and the accuracy of badminton dropshot strokes."
