Abstract

The Relationship Between Agility and Dribbling Ability in Football Games
for Students of SMPN 4 Tambun Selatan”. The purpose of this study is. To
determine the relationship between agility and dribbling ability in
extracurricular football students of SMPN 4 Tambun Selatan.
This type of research is correlation, the population in this study were 30
extracurricular football students of SMPN 4 Tambun Selatan. The sampling
technique used was saturated sampling so that the number of samples in
this study was 30 people. The test instruments used were agility tests
(shuttle run), and dribbling tests (dodging run). Based on the analysis of the
research results and the discussion above carried out by the researcher, it
can be concluded that there is a relationship between agility and dribbling
ability in football games for students of SMPN 4 Tambun Selatan by
obtaining a calculated t value = 1.70> t table 0.68, and a significance
value of 0.000 < 0.05. This Agility Test is more efficient towards dribbling
ability in football game of SMPN 4 Tambun Selatan students. This is proven
through the difference value of the assessment results they undergo in
performing movements with the results of f count 0.54 and f table 3.32
