Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of low science learning outcomes. This can be seen from the many students who still cannot understand the material that has been explained and many students who have not been able to achieve the KKM score that has been set. Of the 32 students, only 14 students were able to achieve the KKM score that has been set while 18 other students have not yet completed it. This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SDN Bahagia 05 through the Experiential Learning learning model.

The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consists of 2 cycles and each cycle consists of three meetings and four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students of SDN Bahagia 05 totaling 32 students consisting of 19 male students and 13 female students. Data collection was carried out through observation and written tests. The success criteria in this study is if 80% of the number of students achieve the specified KKM score of 75.

Based on the results of the study from cycle I to cycle II, an increase in the classical percentage 28 %. in cycle I activities was 53.10% with an average score of 72, in cycle II it was 81.25% with an average score of 84. Thus, it can be concluded that the Experiential Learning learning model can improve the learning outcomes of science subjects in grade IV students of SDN Bahagia 05.
