Abstract

This research aims to examine the role of Islamic youth organizations within mosques in fostering the morals of teenagers around Tambun Village, South Tambun District. This research uses qualitative methods, namely those derived from observations, interviews and documentary sources to arrive at accurate and justifiable conclusions. Informants for this research were selected proportionally from several social and educational backgrounds, including religious leaders, organizational administrators, and organizational members who directly carry out activities for the sustainability of the organization.
The result of this research is the implementation of youth ties in developing morals for teenagers around Tambun Village, South Tambun District. The current moral crisis often occurs among teenagers, so there are cases that disturb society due to the lack of moral development among teenagers. In this case, the mosque youth association organization is very influential in developing the morals of teenagers. With the activities of the mosque youth organization, indirectly teenagers have a place to learn moral values through studies held in youth associations, not only teenagers' studies, they can also express creative ideas that have value. positive to help prosper the mosques in their respective environments.
