Abstract
General Elections are an important foundation of a country that believes in democracy and as a means of realizing people's sovereignty and a fair competition arena for political parties. The Election Supervisory Body is one of the institutions tasked with the General Election which is tasked with supervising all stages of election activities which aim to prevent and take action against violations in the election stages process. In the implementation, the Bekasi City Bawaslu is tasked with supervising the implementation of the 2024 simultaneous elections. This study uses qualitative research accompanied by a case study research approach. The data collection techniques include: observation, in-depth interviews, campus studies, and documentation. The results of this study show that the strategy implemented by the Bekasi City Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) in supervising the implementation of the 2024 Election has been well formulated through planning a vision, mission, and identifying external opportunities and threats. The implementation of this strategy includes developing a culture that supports internal collaboration, creating an effective organizational structure, and utilizing information technology to increase transparency and accountability. The Bekasi City Bawaslu has prepared standards for supervisory procedures that prioritize the principles of independence, professionalism, accountability, and openness. Public perception of the supervision of the 2024 Election by the Bekasi City Bawaslu has shown positive acceptance, although there are concerns about the independence of Bawaslu members at the regional level. The public recognizes the credibility of Bawaslu in carrying out its supervisory duties, but there is criticism regarding the slow response to reports of violations..
