Abstract

This research was conducted using library research techniques. The researcher tries to explain and explain rationally, objectively the aims and problems of the existing research. The method that researchers used in this research was a qualitative approach, namely research produced from descriptive data in the form of written explanations from the subjects observed. The data in this research is data in the form of observations and documentation studies. The data that has been obtained is then processed through recording, typing, data editing and analysis using words arranged into expanded text. Based on the data that researchers managed to collect, Munif Chatib is an educational consultant, who implemented his ideas by establishing an educational foundation based on Multiple Intelligences, YIMI (Malik Ibrahim Islamic Foundation) Gresik. Followed by the Independent Learning Curriculum which is currently being implemented in Indonesia, Munif Chatib's Islamic Education Thought is related to the Independent Learning Curriculum where teachers adapt to the dominant intelligence possessed by each child
