Abstract

The heart is one of the most important organs in the human body; heart health
should be maintained. To determine the condition of the heart, a medical test,
namely an electrocardiogram, is required (EKG). ECG waves can be used to
diagnose heart conditions, but these devices are quite expensive and require the
assistance of a medical team. It is a heart rate measurement in this study using the
AD8232 ECG sensor as an instrument for measuring heart rate values based on an
electrocardiogram. Monitoring is done in real time, and the waveform display
results can be seen on the LCD screen. The tool operates in a straightforward
manner, namely by sending an analog signal. A heart rate signal in the form of a
fluctuating ECG graph on a serial plotter will be sent to the microcontroller, where
it will be converted into BPM data and displayed on the 1306 OLED LCD screen.
